We had some great news this week – one of our members, Janet Efere of Tadpole Training was the recipient of a rather prestigious award.
Janet is a sales trainer based in Enfield and is the founder of Tadpole Training, a company which specialises in teaching small businesses and entrepreneurs how to sell more. Last Wednesday at the Enterprise Enfield 30th Anniversary Business Awards, she scooped the prize for ‘Start up Business of the Year’ 2015. The award was presented by Heather Melville, Director of Strategic Partnerships, RBS. Other dignitaries included Despina Johnson, Chief Executive of Enterprise Enfield and Cllr Alan Sitkin, Lead Member for Economic Regeneration, Enfield Council and the Keynote speaker was the very entertaining Gary Mabbutt MBE.
When discussing why Janet had won, the judges highlighted how she had come a long way in a relatively short time, gaining accreditation with The Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, reaching the finals of the Association of Professional Coaches, Trainers and Consultants (category, Trainer of the Year 2014) as well as being asked to judge for ISMM in the category of Telesales Professional of the year.
“Tadpole Training’s engaging, practical and cost effective courses have proved extremely popular and receive great feedback. The workshops are tailored for the local business community and include the cleverly titled “I’m not a Salesperson”, along with others focussing on communication skills, presentation skills and telephone techniques.”
Congratulations to Janet from everyone at YBC and let’s see what she can do next year! If you are interested in finding out more about Tadpole Training, you can contact Janet via the YBC community pages, here..
